It is
our desire to build a secure, creative care
apartment complex with fourteen apartments. This
37,856 sq. ft. building will set on three acres of
land. It will be a wood frame structure with brick
exterior. The south side will be of two levels,
however, due to the slope of the land, both will
open at ground level. The employee break room, most
of the office space, all of the maintenance and
storage will be on the lower level.
The facility will house a great room, main kitchen and dining room, laundry, handicapped bath for those who require assistance, library, craft room, chapel/t.v., beauty shop, gift shop,exercise room and therapy pool, as well as office and storage space - all designed around an open courtyard and surrounded by two acres of landscaped walking, visiting and gardening areas with gazebos, flowers, fresh air and light. With these resources available, we trust that residents will develop strong social ties as well as developing physically and mentally. We want our residents to live life to the fullest, not just exist
A unique feature to our facility will be the respite care apartment. We know that care givers have a desperate need to get away and rest. Therefor, this unit is designed to take care of any aged, handicapped person for a few hours up to two weeks. The care-giving family can rest, knowing that their loved one is comfortable and well cared for.
